Public Artwork: The Bird Carver Kelowna, British Columbia Dates: June 2020 Project Description: Featuring bird carving silhouettes and carving tools, The Bird Carver is inspired by the bird carvings and story of Kelowna carver, John Gervers (1889–1964), who lived for over thirty years on the nearby property now known as Mill Creek Linear Park.
