Public Artwork: High Fives at 8155 Capstan Way Richmond, British Columbia Dates: April 2021 Project Description: Created in collaboration with Jeff Kulak, High Fives is an airbrushed mural in a simple colour palette of pale blue and white. Depicting five birds in flight among five floating clouds, the public artwork is a wish for good luck and futurity for the artists and for the residents and passersby of the building the mural adorns. High Fives takes influence from Chinese numerology and symbolism, and reflects a spirit of possibility and celebration, inspired in part by the act of collaborating together.
