Public Artwork: Golden Eagle at Salish Plaza Chilliwack, British Columbia Dates: November 2020 Project Description: Golden Eagle references a Fairchild-Cornell aircraft that was mounted on the roof of Brett’s Garage, a car dealership located on what was once Hope Street—a short roadway covered by the Salish Plaza development in the 1980s. The plane was a sculptural presence for those who frequented Hope Street’s businesses and residences, and became a symbol of downtown Chilliwack for locals and visitors
